Jerome "Jerry" Thissen is a highly respected and accomplished professional with over 40 years of experience in the franchise industry. With a strong background in accounting, he began his career at Northwest Airlines and held various positions over the years, including Executive Vice President of Sales.
Jerry's passion for developing and managing his own business led him to acquire several fast food franchises after leaving Northwest Airlines in 1976. Through this experience, he gained a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in buying and selling franchises. In 1978, he co-founded National Franchise Sales, which has since become a leading force in the franchise industry.
Over the past four decades, Jerry and his team at National Franchise Sales have facilitated the transfer of hundreds of franchises for both franchisees and franchisors. As an industry leader in franchise marketing and resales, he has also provided expert witness testimony and served as an advisor for a range of transactions, including the acquisition of existing restaurant companies and the establishment of a master franchised business.
In addition to his work at National Franchise Sales, Jerry has leveraged his extensive network within the franchise industry to acquire and invest in various franchised businesses. He is a trusted advisor and partner to entrepreneurs seeking to find, negotiate, qualify, and finance franchised business opportunities.
Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Minnesota.
